Tom Chopin
In the market for a new pair of winter boats. Have a pair of Columbia's that I've been happy with but wore out the sole. Any suggestions? I came across these new 'heated' Columbia's that look interesting. http://www.columbia.com/Bugathermo/Bugathe...09&uid=espn

smerchly
Take a look at the Baffin boots Tom . They are made in Stoney Creek & are the only Canadian company left that manufactures high quality boots . Sorrel moved to Vietman & Kodiak is made in China . Baffin had to go to China for molds & die & stitching products because none are available in Canada . I know our friend Bowen (live2fish) bought a pair of Baffin boots and said he wore them with no socks & kept warm . I believe Sears carries them now & Marks Work Wearhouse has them . Prices range from$90 plus taxes to over $200 ++ .I'll be looking to buy my next pair of ice fishing boots from Baffin for sure. here's an intro from the Baffin owner ........check out Baffin boots on google for specs http://www.thespec.com/article/505651
