The fish weren't very cooperative, but the company was excellent. Peanut and I enjoyed ourselves immensely. We even managed to get one in. No small feat today. Pics. Guest Rockfish Posted April 25, 2011 Report Share Posted April 25, 2011 Decent carp there Bruce, I got out there kinda late thinking there might be an afternoon carp bite. It was by about 5 pm they were just teasing and rolling on the surface right in front of us. I tried a different bait technique and got to try out Carpin' Southern Style. hammercarp Posted April 25, 2011 Report Share Posted April 25, 2011 It was great to see NFNers at the fish-in. They also caught 2 out of 3 fish caught that day. Bruce it was a great to share some bank space with you and peanut. Next time we'll provide her with more carp to chase. The water is still pretty cold at 48o F. Ron it was a pleasure to see a fly angler work his trade successfully. Rockfish it was good to meet you at last. Hopefully we can get together again.
