smerchly
The pine trees in Niagara really took a beating .....two large one came down 2 doors from me , one taking out a 6'wood fence . And the pines at the park on Decew Rd. also we hit hard since these trees have shallow roots . I was sorry to see our very old lilac tree come down but 2 guys stopped by to use the twisted knotty wood for their woodworking skills instead of using it for firewood . Dan Andrews
My kid who is a jock actually phoned me from school that day and asked if him and his friends could go kayaking. Apparently there were some big waves entering the River from a swollen creek. I'm the only thing standing between him and a Darwin award
pike007
Yes alot of pine trees and old ones at that, just to show how long its been since weve had 90 mile an hour winds. As for your son chilli , he is quite the daredevil, i wouldnot go anywhere near the lake in those conditions
