captnn
Nobody fishing for them anymore, They are out there. All you have to do is find them. Had a good day to day with decent weather at last.

Are you fishing out of Pt Colborne? I went out to 70 ft and never marked a thing! Are they out deeper?

smerchly
I have to ask , can walleye be released after catching them 70' deep ? It's been many years since I caught eyes there and we didn't even need riggers since the eyes were only down 15 to 20 feet .

I've caught them in deeper depths where their eyes look like they are ready to pop out. Don't release them either.
Chrisb
I don't think I have ever caught a walleye with its bladder in its mouth. Perch all the time.
captnn
They have a big mouth. Ever look inside?
Dan Andrews
Marked a few in Point Abino today between 38 and 45 feet of water but no takers. Marked tonnes of perch though suspended around bait. I also saw fish jumping all over the place and an injured pintail. Good day to be on the water though as the swells were rounded so it was a smooth ride
