minnow killer Posted October 11, 2011 Report Share Posted October 11, 2011 Took my wife out perchin today, she was kinda cranky after the first hour of catchin nuttin, but then just 5 minutes after she threw a mini fit, she got one, and before we knew it, the cooler was overflowin, 2 hours is all it took. guess it time to go after salmon, i'm sick of cleanin fish. Glad I had brought some minnows as Erie T was sold out. Parking lot was full, over 50 boats out there fishing, including a couple of sailboats & a tug boat! minnow killer Posted October 12, 2011 Author Report Share Posted October 12, 2011 trust me, it was a pain gettin on em monday, pullin the anchor at least 5 times, it's 20lb plus 8 feet of 3/8 chain. gotta be 60 lb or more. my trick of the day was the big monster minnows from erie T last week, i kept em in the rain barrel, chopped em up in 4's with scissors, the more munged up they got the more they liked em.
