Craiger Posted January 5, 2012 Author Report Share Posted January 5, 2012 They do all the work for you when casting. Once you slow down and feel the rod load it makes it so easy. They have a very moderate action and load right through to the handle with very fast recovery. Let me know if you ever want to hook up down there for some Spey action. Hey fynatic, I use everything from intermediate to T14 tips down there....every area is different. As for flies intruders will work when they're very aggressive. Streamers, rabbit strip minnow patterns, egg sucking leeches...etc all work well. I've had way more success with more simple patterns. I hope this helps a little bit. Good luck.
