miller
lake was calm, water was green and i wanted to head out for a paddle. recently i added a few things to my kayak so i wanted to give it a test out on the water(rod holders, fishfinder, and little planerboards). i was hoping i'd hook into something and within my first 15 minutes i managed to get my first spring king out of the yak and man was that fun. paddled around for about 2 hours marked lots of bait schools but only got the one hit, i can't wait for more. chrome! new rig

miller
i launched at the public ramp in grimsby, wouldn't reccomend launching any actual boats over 14ft there though haha
Dogman
How was it paddling around in 40 degree water? That is the only thing keeping me out atm.
miller
my kayak is a sit in. the only water i get on me is random drips from the paddles so its been fine. water is cooler than it was a few weeks ago though. it got up to 50 at one point now its back down a few degrees

stkittsjigger
Nice king, was it a good eater? I have the same yak, do you find it very tipsy getting in and out or is it just me and my technique? Looks like where you launched from you could slide down the ramp on the yak. miller
i've only ever used a couple yaks and all have been tipsy getting in and out hahah but that's the only time i feel uncomfortable in it. as soon as you're in they are so stable
