I couldnt see too many bluegil so to let the bass do their thing, i headed out. drove way out towards the smithville area and still found nothing. After a little searching, I found a spot to try and fished a downed tree for crappie. My luck has been pretty rotten this spring but I think I got it back today! I caught about a dozen crappie and took three home to eat, I also got my first bowfin! One of the best days I've had fishing in a while. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
