YakFisher
Thinking of trying it out in the morning, since I have the day off. Any fees or restrictions on tackle? Thanks
roadrunner
Lots of largemouth in that lake. I dont think you can keep any but lots of fun! Bring the weedless gear as there are alot of lilly pads and weeds. There is a fee to get in i think its something like 5-6 bucks for a car and driver. YakFisher
Tried it today, launched around 5, left after dark and well...... IT WAS AWESOME! Caught my personal best large mouth with a frog in heavy lily pads. It felt between 4& 6 lbs. I stuck with the frog for most of the night and it was successful. I also threw a steamer around with my fly rod and catfight my first bass on a fly too. Really great trip, I would suggest other people try this area if they haven't yet. YakFisher
Well, they call it a lake, but it's far from it. It's in wainfleet at the chippawa creek conservation area. $4 for a day pass per car, no motorized boats, and it's only catch and release. It's a campground too, with a little beach and some walking/biking trails.

roadrunner
There is also alot of nice bluegill in there. Simple worm and hook will do the trick. Congrats on the pb. Ive pulled alot of hogs out of those lilly pads.
