cdnfishguy11
A few days back Im fishing for pike on a tributary of gibson and backcasting overtop of a road that normally doesnt see to much traffic ... about 20 mins and 1 fish into the day on a long backcast.... I managed to hook a pickup...... lol to my suprise my leader did not break but rather the 40lb mono loop on my fly line! I see brake lights and the guy turns around... now Im thinking this guy is gonna be pissed ! He pulls up beside me rolls down his window while im getting me streamer off his truck, he says; "no matter what any casting instructor tells you there is such thing as too much line speed, 80km/hr is normally the cut off" I thanked him for stopping and he was on his way! YakFisher
Hilarious. I saw something like that once in the chipawa creek. Some guys were flying in their bass boat under a bridge with their rods upright. A lure catches the bridge and SNAPPPPPPPP. The guys were lucky something didn't catch on skin. It was only a broken rod. Idiots
