jessek
What is your go to lure or bait when you hook a fish and there's a bunch following the hooked fish. What lure to keep on a spare rod to be ready to throw right behind the fish to catch the others?
matterhorn
it depends, if it is a bigger predator going after what you caught, then an imitation of what you caught would work. if it is the same species as you caught then just the same bait you are using. rickyy33
spinner bait if the group is in close to you, just drop it down they'll hit it on the fall, works with bass all the time
niagarangler89
Always have an extra rod rigged with your preference of soft plastic (tube, craw, senko, darter etc). Works well for fish that strike but miss, or for those followers that are hesitant to strike. When you see the other fish following the one you've hooked, in my opinion, they think their buddy just got a free meal and are trying to steal it and/or get a piece of the action. That being said, keep tossin' the lure you're catching them on!
Piker
Jig with a twister tail. I like brown or black in clear water, or white or yellow in dirtier water. Anything that swims will take a twister tail.
