lnguyen0929 Posted July 14, 2012 Report Share Posted July 14, 2012 Hi all, I plan to go down to port Colbourg for the fisrt time tomorrow...guess that i have to take the HW 406 then launch my boat,i have a 14' boat and 30HP motor...Is it safe enough for me to fish close to shore in lake Errie and how deep should i fish ...i will use tubes for small mouths...All the advices will be thanked... rickyy33 Posted July 14, 2012 Report Share Posted July 14, 2012 your boat should be fine, wouldn't travel to far out, if the winds are bad dont go out (east wind is bad), but you should be fine anywhere inside the breakwall, be mindful there are fish sanctuaries all over, that actually open back up on monday, Should be able to pull out a couple smallies. 15 bucks to launch to BTW. good luck Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
