Bones Posted November 11, 2012 Report Share Posted November 11, 2012 Hunted everyday this week and only saw a couple of deer.One of the two sightings was late Monday and it may have been this guy. Last day 9 am and I see this guy 60 yds to my right. No shot but he came my way. I took the shot about 55 yds and he took off. I wasn't sure how good he was hit but he had his tail down, which is a good sign. Sat for an hour since my hunting partner still had a tag anyways. When I started tracking him there was no blood, not good. Looked ahead and there he was, he went about 60 yds. This is a big old buck, who weighed 250+. We dragged him for 3-40 yds and stopped lol. did this a bunch of times until he was almost out of the bush. Only problem was he was still a long way from the truck, finally got a hold of some one with a quad and we were smiling Backstraps for supper Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
