After a few weeks, well over 40 hours of fishing in all our favorite spots we finally caught a few today. We started in the morning at our favorite go to spot with no luck, we then hit Gibson again with no luck, then on to martindale and finally we hooked on to a few Was a great day.... Got a chance to fish beside Bruce and Rob for a bit which is always nice... Missed Casey and Baxter though.... ( my son packs treats for them ) Ended up with a nice cat fish, a blue gill and a nice little rock bass, Hang on, just realized I need to stop using the word we.... He caught all 3 today.... And like Bruce had said the grin is contagious and I cannot wait till my boy has the same grin on.
