dr_feelgood Posted July 7, 2013 Report Share Posted July 7, 2013 My daughter picked me up this morning and we hit the upper river. First target was minnows, hahaha. Ended up in Fort Erie before we could net minnows. We slayed the silvers for a bout an hour. Nothing big, but, a fish every drift. Then the red and white bobber clan moved in. Time to leave. All in all a good day, too bad I forgot to use sunscreen on the feet. A couple of victims were fed to the heron. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Hey doctor F......lather up your feet with shaving cream ....it's medicated and will take the burning away ....rinse off with room temp. water & repeat . steelshady Posted July 8, 2013 Report Share Posted July 8, 2013 I fished the upper last week at the end of Jarvis road and caught some nice keepers along with a few bass. Lots of weeds and moss on hooks made fishing uncomfortable but dinner was well worth it! Today I fished at the gorge and crispy eddy and caught around five bass, bite was slow.
