emmitboy
Byng Island Conservation Area in Dunville is great for kids with the acre size pool and very reasonably priced. Shore fishing inside the park can be good at the Dam and the immediate surrounding area. Good opportunity for Walleye, Bass, and Catfish.

lunker D
Sherkston Shores in Port Colborne I think its $20 a car load to get in. Can fish and swim in the Quarry, I always like that place when I was a kid.
Catfish
Byng bas some good fishing. Fish jigs with a mister twister or tipped with a minnow for walleye or crankbaits for bass. Along the shore with a worm and bobber for sunfish. bait and tackle is good for the minnows but has crappy hours. I believe they sell worms at the entrance gate of the CA but I'm not sure. EDIT: why is it taking out a tackle shop name?
