DaveC
Made another attempt at this fly...I am a little more pleased with this one. Was able to get the wings to tent properly this time.
ron4blues
Great looking fly! I can see myself casting that fly on the Hart Pool in Cape Breton for fresh-from-the-sea Atlantics.
smerchly
"Sweet Caroline" ( N.D.) . Great looking fly Dave ! I think a lot of local fish would like that one . I'll have to give some flies a try on the 12 to see how the bass like them .....fishing very light with the fly on a 3 way in the current . It also looks good for walleye fishing when they are feeding on mayflies . The fly may be an alternative to the woolly bugger that they have been known to take . CCfly
Hey Dave...see, second try and already light years ahead!! It's a lot of frigging and stroking those fibres to get them to lay right...think of it as a salon treatment you can stroke those mallard wings between thumb and forefinger to get them smooth and so that the barbules re-mesh.... cc
