marktheperchman
was at a friends cottage on lake huron just north of oliphant for the weekend and on my way to wiarton for my daily tims i crossed the rankin river which connects a bunch of shallow lakes ( isaac lake, boat lake and a couple others ). well now i was kicking myself for not bringing my canoe as apparently there are 28 miles of river and lake to fish and explore. just wondering if anyone has fished these waters because we might be invited back up and i was wondering where i should start and what kind of species i should target. a local guy was putting his canoe in and told me he had even caught walleye in isaac lake. there is lots of crown land around this water and it looks like an awesome place to spend a couple days camping and fishing
