marktheperchman Posted January 17, 2014 Report Share Posted January 17, 2014 just watched wgrz weather forecast and some cold temps are coming our way for next week and according to kevin oconnell they could last for the rest of the month. the entire east end of the lake is already iced over and with the surface temps at or near the freezing mark this could be the year that erie freezes over. even if it doesnt completely freeze we will definitely have fishable ice. maybe even all the way to port colborne and morgans point. i feel like a kid waiting for christmas to come Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

marktheperchman Posted January 18, 2014 Author Report Share Posted January 18, 2014 nice boots. looks like they have a thick sole. what are they rated for. where did you get them. im looking to get some new ones. my ice boots are so heavy that for long walks out like pleasant i put them in the sled and wear my green kamiks out for the walk. when i get where im going i make the changeover. be nice to have something warm and lightweight.
