smerchly
We have an abundance of ants this year , some getting into the house . We bought some liquid drops which they feed on and take back some of the sweet nectar to please their queen . Eventually they will poison the queen and exterminate themselves . I have set a few "trays" out using fishing box tray dividers and covering them with wood to keep the dog from getting it .......seems to be working fine ..... browndc
That's a great idea. I like using the liquid as well. Been using caps from a few brown pops to hold the liquid.

smerchly
Great idea thanks I can't stand these little buggers they get everywhere. The ants have greatly diminished in numbers , the stuff works well . Be sure that the plates are level or it will run off . Beer caps should work well too . I also use dish soap & water to destroy nests (ant houses) . Make it about 10 to 1 mix and it should kill an ant in 10 seconds or a yellow jacket and hornet . Flies & spiders seem to have a better resistance to it , but it will get them into the morgue soon enough !
