smerchly
A little sad news today ......while fishing at Port Dal ., I have been observing a pair of unusual looking geese that have been residing at Port Dal together for many years . I'm not sure which one is the male/female but the larger one with the dark markings was found dead last week , washed up on the Lakeside Park beach . They have been photographed thousands of times I'm sure . ....sad to see the lone one left behind as they mate for life . I also heard a dead hawk was found hanging from a tree with it's feet caught in fishing line ....no need to explain that one ....

captnn
Hope it was natural not an inconsiderate hunter. Canada geese mate for life also.
pauly
Our female diamond dove died about a week ago and the male died a day later from grief. They say that the one can't live without the other. Pretty intense bond.
