roadrunner
Does anyone know where I can find the map of the upper grand river. It's on my navionics but it won't give me depths like it does with the lower. This is really frustrating lol
Tyler0420
Ya navonics only covers a bit up river n stops. I've never seen any topographic maps for the river. Would be nice if there's one around tho. If not gotta get a canoe n start researching.
cdnvizsla
Upper is very low right now. Areas the canoe normally goes over easily, had to get out and walk it.
Tyler0420
Yes I noticed it was low. This summer is going to be bad I think. It will only get lower. Bring on the rain, but then it's dirty for two weeks lol
cdnvizsla
Yeah the upper and Whitemen's Creek were crystal clear today, made for tough fishing
roadrunner
Got out tonight. Managed a couple fish. The river depths are all over the place, wish there was something out there to find the holes. Guess its searching with the fishfinder lol. The river is anywhere from 6-18 feet. Caught a small walleye and pike in the 11 foot range tonight.
