Tommyboy
So we were going to head out on erie this weekend, but decided to try the river instead. I've never fished the welland river and am looking for some info. I'm not asking for anyone's favourite spots, just a general direction. I did some searching first, but just want some advice. I'm happy to catch whatever is biting, but bass and walleye would be top of the list. So which boat launch would be best to go from, where is a motor boat not allowed to go (I was talking to someone about a no motor craft zone), what to throw, or anything else that might help Thanks Tom
bigugli
Hit the lower river section upstream of the QEW up to Pt Robinson, launching from Chippewa. Drift troll or slow troll harnesses for walleye, or drift and jig bottom.

Tommyboy
The visibility was very low, worked our way along fishing structure. Marked lots of fish, but nothing biting. Only got out for a few hours though.
