Open at the point Yeah, I took a drive today as you can see by my pics in the Lake Erie forum. I saw those guys on the ice at the start line. It didn't look like they were doing much. I didn't even want to know how thin the ice was. I thought I could launch my canoe at Ramey's but it's too long of a walk from the gate to where there is open water.
