smerchly
I just read it in the paper Dave....copied it & was just going to paste it here lol . If the cost "estimate" is anything like the Burgoyne bridge .....it will end up costing 70 million . The other question is , how many years of "consultations" before the work begins ? I was there a few days ago , checking things out . The piers were loaded gulls and cormorants ....warning to the midnight anglers who hop the fence ....wear your snow "creepers" , it can get very slippery out there ! If there is money to spend on TWO Burgoyne bridges when ONE is sufficient .....that extra 50 million they blew would have paid for fixing the piers ! Old Outdoorsman
Property taxes will be raised accordingly. Gotta love the mindset of our "representatives" who have zero imagination when it comes to funding projects like this.
