smerchly
Very interesting video Jim , thanks for posting this for us . I have fished for pike at Ivy Lee about 45 years ago , surprised to not see any pike in the video . We used alewives for bait , under a big red-white bubble float . We bought them there for $1:00 per dozen ....big bucks in those days ! .... and there were no gobies or zebra mussels .
Jim K
I also fish for Northerns when we are up there Smerchly. I usually just fan cast spoons or spinnerbaits for an hour or two in a weedy bay. Usually in the morning. Sometimes with my wife, or with one of the guys, or I will just motor out myself for a while before breakfast if nobody else is awake. Its a mixed bag trip. We get a couple cabins for the week, other friends come up for a few days. Fishing, diving, playing cards, golf, shopping, laying around the swimming pool. I can't say that I would continue to vacation there every year if It was focused on just one activity, as the fishing's nothing special, and we have dove all those wrecks so many times, but when you combine it all, it's a good time.
