smerchly Posted September 15, 2022 Report Share Posted September 15, 2022 We usually get ocean fish & chips (haddock) from a local fish'n chip place but last trip there the prices went up about 30 % ....so that's history . I picked up a box of frozen haddock at Wall Mart last week & we had 2 meals from it , done in the oven with the fries . We were surprised how nice the fillets tasted ....and saved us well over $20 to boot ! And the little pooch got his little treat too . I was surprised to crunch down on a solid piece of back bone from the fish , but for 6 bucks , I'll take the 'risk' . It's nice to have a change once in a while , just heat 'n eat ! Looking to get out over the next few days in the kayak and I have plans to fish 6am Saturday for a few hours with a buddy before I go to work.
