Guest boston
dane city? I can't remeber the name of the conservation area there, is it mud lake or something like that, I remember it is polluted with largemouth though. been years since I headed there. caught like two hundred largie's in a days fishing. most being under a lb but a couple over 4. Guest IBC
was at martindale today ... saw a few largies ... one in the 3-4 pound range ... but he wasnt hungy ... many really small ones that were chasing my spinnerbaits (lookin for dem pike). they had no interest in the small tubes or anything else but my large sized spinner baits. smerchly
jhm....hope you try to get that big thing......that muskie will prob. be hanging around there for a while . Maybe a float and good size chub would entice it to hit . You might want a heavier rod & reel though......

At least you had a good day fishing in Dain City, I tried fishing in Dain City and Merritt Island today and I was skunked!! I was fishing behind the Dain City Tavern (my watering hole) and did'nt get nuttin, although alot of it was probably because I had no patience and wrong bait ....lol Muskie eh!? Thats awesome, I have caught some decent pike there but I have never seen a Muskie, awesome! Thanks for the report!! If you ever want to meet up in Dain City or something, we can cast a few lines. send me an e-mail and let me know what to bring for bait and maybe I can learn something...lol -Frank

jessek
The Muskie was suppose to be living under that willow that hangs over by the bridge.

noahterfry
we realsese them... but when we catch those big bass and sheephead we go down the bank to get the fish so we don't hurt theyre mouths
Amia Calva
I think he means dropping them back into the water from the bridge, a fall like that would seriously harm the fish (even the small ones).
