fishin_hamilton
A few weeks back took the dog for a walk around a local trib to see what was happening. Lots of fish and not a fish to be had cause the area is off limits till the spring, but i did see a few tracks and some roe bags left behind. packrat
Its nice to see fish in nature doing what they do best.....like following their instincts to perpetuate the speicies. Got to agree with you on that one Tommy--- get more pleasure sometime just "watching" nstead "catching" (well trying to anyway) Gord

smerchly
I didn't realize salmon had that many teeth! Hey Brownbomber , sometimes you need to look real close to see them teeth .......If you get a large gobie , take a look and this is what you will see...... smerchly
Those little "piranahs " were hungry yesterday at Port Dalhousie . We were using larger minnows and they kept taking the eyes out of them . In Welland we were using floats with minnows and the bait was well off the bottom and the gobies would swallow the minnows and run (swim) I haven't seen reports of gobies being caught or sighted in the shallow tribs ...Has anyone spotted gobies in the spawning grounds on the tribs ? jwl
cool pictures for sure..it is neat to see fish like that when you are out enjoying nature at it's finest..like spring pike fishing and the banks are alive with spawning carp every where..good surprize if you are in a canoe some times . As for gobies, I guess I got a little lucky this year, I didn't catch any .
