smerchly
We have had a few smoggy days & I heard a radio report that the smog comes up the Ohio valley when winds are southerly and covers most of the golden horseshoe area with industrial smog comming from coal fired generating plants etc. from our good neighbours to the south . I'm sure , buying a small fuel efficient car will save us from this nasty air.........Here's a pic. From NOAA showing the path of that smog...... Guest Rockfish
Yuck !!! They've just lifted the smog advisory late in the afternoon when the T-storm came through. I also saw the same thing about it coming from the Ohio valley on the weather channel and that what u see is suspended particulate when the sun hits it.
