One thing I like about this area is if you really learn to keep an eye on wind conditions on a daily basis, it gets easier to predict when the good days will be and also when to go elsewhere without having to rely on others reports. smerchly Posted January 15, 2005 Report Share Posted January 15, 2005 I went out Fenwick way today and the water run-off is still very heavy. The water falls at the Rockway Community Centre is running full blast and VERY muddy . This is because the land is saturated with water , so I think it's going to be a few days and some cold temperatures before we see the water clearing up at Port Dal. and the River !
