Ladies and Gentleman,
The streak has finally come to an end! After getting skunked last year and losing on my first 17 cups this year, cup number 18 is a WINNER! Not the camping package that I was hoping for, but now I have a free coffee to try for it again

Back to London tomorrow. Had an amazing break...many great opportunities have arisen and I was lucky enough to meet a several new fishing buddies. Thanks everyone for everything!

NFN Weather Station updated for Saturday, Feb., 25....Niagara looks high and dirty today...winds will be strong from the NW....should feel cool out with that windchill. Best of luck to anyone fishing today! (I'm heading down to the Lower this afternoon)

Only made it out for an hour or so before sun down. No fish, but nice to be out. Saw what looked to be a Great Blue Heron, but it flew away as I crept closer for a picture. Also, as I approached the bank near one of my holes, something that was nestled right up to the bank darted out into the water...looked all brown and it had the side-to-side movement of a fish...wasn't sure if it was some type of catfish or something else (it honestly looked like a giant tadpole).

I know, crazy eh Cliff!? Smerch, there were definite signs that spring was right around the corner...between the worms, robins, and frogs...I thought for sure we were done with winter! Haha ah well, it gives the hard water guys a glimmer of hope!

Finally got out today! Nice and sunny, but a little cool with the breeze. No fish (think the walleye have moved on from my hole), but it was amazing to get out again! Now bring on some steel!

The one we drove to? Nahh, not yet. Need to find an afternoon I can take Hayley's car...the river's actually getting into good shape though...water's coming down and visibility's a lot better so I want to go back to that spot soon! London trip??

Finally back in niagara! Heading out to the pool tonight, hopefully still some straggling salmon left!

One more midterm to go tomorrow then home next weekend for some salmon and trout fishing!!
....Heading home this weekend though and looks like this nice weather's going to hold up! Hopefully will be able to post a fishing report or two...it's been a while!
