A Voter’s Guide For Gun Owners

WE NEED YOUR HELP NOW!!

VOTE on May 2, 2011

In the 16 years TSCON has existed we are the closest ever to seeing a gun friendly government elected that will change Canada’s firearm laws. If the Conservatives can elect 12 more MPs and get a majority the long gun registry as well as other obnoxious parts of the Firearms Act will be HISTORY!!

How can you help? MOST IMPORTANT, VOTE on MAY 2 for the following Conservative candidates who are running in the Niagara Peninsula.

To win, all these candidates need two things - MONEY AND MANPOWER. YOU can provide both. Make a donation to any or all of their campaigns. Put up a lawn sign. Volunteer an hour or day or week to their campaign. There are always jobs to do and never enough people to do them. BE ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE.

HOW ABOUT IT? WILL YOU FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHTS AND PROPERTY OR WILL YOU SIT BACK AND DO NOTHING?

Here’s what the other parties have in store for gun owners:

- Michael Ignatieff whipped the vote against Bill C-391, forcing his MPs to support the useless $100 million dollar per year long gun registry

- Liberal Party Policy Section 42 - “...the Liberal Party of Canada urges the government of Canada to support legislation to eliminate the personal use of automatic and semi-automatic firearms."

- Liberal Party Policy Section 47 - "...that the Liberal Party of Canada take the necessary steps ...to review the classification of guns so that semi-automatic weapons be classified as illegal weapons; and to enact

more severe laws to better control the possession and use of guns."

- “Hand guns have no place in our cities.” - NDP Party Platform

- “We will introduce balanced and fair measures (huh?) to eventually ban handguns and semi-automatic firearms.” - Green Party of Canada policy

Once handguns and semi-autos are gone your BOLT, PUMP AND BREAK ACTION FIREARMS ARE NEXT. The Liberals, NDP, Bloc and Greens will not stop until ALL FIREARMS IN CANADA ARE BANNED.

A SPECIAL NOTE TO WELLAND RIDING GUN OWNERS

Your MP, Malcolm Allen SOLD YOU OUT. After publicly stating that the majority of his constituents wanted the long gun registry scrapped he caved in to pressure from his boss Jack Layton and said to hell with the citizens of his riding. IS THAT THE KIND OF MP YOU WANT? WE DON’T THINK SO. The Liberal candidate, ex-MP John Maloney, supported Bill C-68 at every turn. He’s as bad as Malcolm Allen.

Conservative candidate Leanna Villella has been on our side from day one. She attends our gun shows. She defends the rights of law-abiding gun owners. Unlike Malcolm Allen she will be AN MP WE CAN TRUST.

Give her a donation, put up one of her lawn signs, volunteer to work on her campaign. Help her defeat turncoat Malcolm Allen and give Welland an MP it can be proud of, not embarrassed by.

All politicians are liars. Each and every one.

A majority government will do what they want to do because they can. Majority government= Dictatorship.

Our best bet is a minority government.

Minority Government/Coalition=Democracy (kind of). Allow me to explain

Here is my explaination..

Minority governments/Coalition Governments at least have to answer to other parties, and their peers (other MP's). They also have the chance of losing a parliamentary vote. If one of their political allies doesn't support a policy. A majority government does what they want. Doesn't matter what their constituents want.

Personally, I would prefer a minority government.

A minority government will keep spinning in useless circles, what canadiens want is their country to move forward, to progress, and to remain CANADIAN.

Don't vote conservative because I said so, vote conservative because you love your country.

What Tory nonsense. The Tories love one thing, and one thing only. Money! Since Brian Baloney, they've been selling Canada off to every foreign bidder knocking on the door. The Tories make money every which way, while regular folks watch their livelihood disappear.

They may end the registry, and that would be good, but they'll also slash all conservation and resource management funding by up to 25%. They have also allowed the DFO to become a pathetic bureaucratic joke. Remember 15 mile creek?

That's like saying I'll vote Liberal because I like the colour red

Actually voting for a party is kinda like them towing the party line. But do we have any candidates that will stand up and vote for their constituents or will they get whipped?

Smoothy I agree with you except they've already indicated they won't co-operate :wall:

What's wrong with p[politicians these days.

On a brighter note there are a few good people replacing the old guard

Do not trust what ANY politico "promises" . They will come up with a thousand excuses why they changed their minds , blaming the former party for breaking the bank account etc etc X 1000 . This is politics in motion ..........:)

The Haircut

One day a florist went to a barber for a haircut.

After the cut, he asked about his bill, and the barber replied,

'I cannot accept money from you, I'm doing community service this week.'

The florist was pleased and left the shop.

When the barber went to open his shop the next morning,

there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen roses waiting for him at his door.

Later, a cop comes in for a haircut, and when he tries to pay his bill, the barber again replied,

'I cannot accept money from you, I'm doing community service this week.'

The cop was happy and left the shop.

The next morning when the barber went to open up, there was a 'thank you' card

and a dozen donuts waiting for him at his door.

Then a Member of Parliament came in for a haircut, and when he went to pay his bill,

the barber again replied, 'I can not accept money from you. I'm doing community service this week.'

The Member of Parliament was very happy and left the shop.

The next morning, when the barber went to open up, there were a dozen MPs lined up waiting

for a free haircut.

And that, my friends, illustrates the fundamental difference between the citizens of our

country and the politicians who run it.

BOTH POLITICIANS AND DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON!
