Jason15
I went out to queenston docks today and lost 2 rigs for worms i use a cleo and a tube with a jig head... so I left and went to Charles Daley on my way home fishing was slow there I then noticed some kids throwing rocks in the wather scaring the carp and birds. The carp moved to the center of the pondI could see the shadows I had my rod propped up on a stick turned around for a second heard a splash and my rod and stick were in the water luckily I got the rod back and was able to fight with this monster it fought hard for about 40 mins and was a blast!!! meatface
Damn, nice job. Lucky about the rod! I've never had any luck with the carp down there. I'll keep plugging away and sooner or later I'll hit some down there. We'll have to hook up sometime and wet the lines
hammercarp
Nice fish. You would not have been the first to have their gear disappear because of a carp.

smerchly
WTG Jason ....lots of carp in there , the trick is getting them to bite . I hope your reel didn't get filled with sand after being dragged from the stand . I've had to take the spool off and give the reel & spool a water bath more than once !
