Jason15
Well I started using a center pin about a week ago and enjoyed it I found casting and controlling the drag fairly easy my first time out I got these I could have handled the last one better but she was trying to move. I also went out last weekend with no luck water was low and fish were scattered .

Jason15
Thanks guys thats a great day in my books, congrats. howd you find the transition in fighting the fish? was it hard to learn the proper times to palm the reel ect? It wasn't too bad the first fish was trial and error pretty much but once I found the right pressure when the fish wanted to run it wasn't bad. Now that you have joined the DARK SIDE.... lol Just kidding, CONGRATS on opening up your options. Looks like your adapting very well and having FUN (Which is the most IMPORTANT THING!) * Try going for some other species with the pin as well. GREAT POST! Thanks thanks I'm planning on trying for salmon and possibly carp

Jason15
Thanks! caught another one yesterday. A good way to practice is if you have room leave the float on with a egg sinker to swivel. I did this for a few hours and kind of got the hang of it.
