spiro
Saw a ton of people fishing there this weekend. Coming back along the river from london, I took the back way, every park or access had a lot of people there along the whole stretch
Catfish
It is not actually that busy. There are always channel cats above the dam, so fish off the bridge or along the sides for them. Below the dam there is walleye channel catfish, white bass, and lots of other stuff.

jordanl
Rainbow have been jumping for past 2 or 3 weeks in the River, can see half dozen or so in a day. but are they resident bows? or are they legit steelhead? just seems really easy for steel to be running.. Tom S
There aren't any resident bows down that far in the river. They'll be steelhead. It is early, but we've had the first rain in a while recently, and the weather has been up and down this year. The dam isn't to far from the river mouth, so it's probably the first fish making test runs, the real run will come later.
