smerchly
I spend the evening listening & watching the great Everly Brothers . It's sad to see the old greats from my era (1950's) passing on ........These guys set the standards for rock'n roll with others such as Simon and Garfunkel following their style . There is a very good You Tube concert when they had their reunion in 1983 at the Royal Albert Hall , well worth the one hour watch .
bigugli
Those who wrote and sang the songs of innocence are fast disappearing. As Dylan sang... "The times, they are a changin."
smerchly
That's for sure Bruce ......these boys had that genetic "family" sound found in many singers . These boys put out a richer tone as they aged as many other have .......I'm a little surprised that others didn't comment , not even the music lovers on the "other" fishing board that has hundreds of posts on music ......but alas , sometimes I forget my age .......Guys like the Everly Bros. take me back a few years lol
