rob29 Posted May 3, 2014 Report Share Posted May 3, 2014 As previously posted, if you are in the park don't deviate from the path. There are signs stating that there are protected plant species and not to trample them. I have personally put hours into there and only trout I caught was a small rainbow fry. Lots of chubs in there though. It might be a bit cool still but watch for ticks as well. I have came out of there with a few stuck to me in the past. It's a nature park now with lots of wildlife including beavers & deer (hence the ticks) . The water is very muddy now and you may catch a few chubs .
