marth11
Hey it has been a long time since I posted anything but I have a question, is anyone getting walleye from shore on the welland river yet? I wanna go up there for a bike ride next week, since I don't drive and live in the north east end of st.catharines I can't just go up and check, I don't need any spots since I have my own, just need to know if its worth the 2.5 hour ride or not, if they aren't but other species like pike and crappie are that info would be great. Thanks for any help.

spikeattolah
I also got a perch and a dogfish last week, and my buddy 1 wallie, both from shore, on the Welland side of the canal, not the Port Robertson side.
PRO - P1KE 101
I went on saturday water was actully warmer than I expected. Anyway around welland port it was fairly muddy (as always) saw a bunch of carp jumping. Also caught a bunch of bullheads and channel cats. Plus a bonus sheephead. Tried for pike but olny one follow up, and no walleye.
