Ilikepikeandbass
I've been looking for a spot in Port D for carp, I've seen a couple large ones in the marina but don't know how many there are. Any in Martindale? Thanks all
Snags
Lots of carp in martindale and in the marina ... more likely to get the pigs in the marina ... some of the beasts I have seen in lake ontario could pull a water skier. Martindale is more difficult since it is harder to sightfish the carp, but they exist. Know people have done well at the green ribbon trail when the water warms up, but lots of lillypads and weed growth ... you get a fish that takes a lot of line, kiss it goodbye. smerchly
Big carp past the marina near the end of the pier , just past of the big rocks .....when the water warms up . Also carp in all the Martindale ponds and into the 12 Mile Creek system . I want to try a spot near the near walk-bridge past Rennie Park this year .....12-15 f.o.w. there & no weeds. perkins
Good luck, better bring your A game.for those hogs. Easily spooked and smart. Id suggest using a light up wagler at night tim.
