It was a little chilly in the am as you can see by the frozen puddle but the canal was wide open. I puttered around for a couple hours waiting for the moon to set at 10:40 or so. Sure enough, right around eleven they started biting. Lots of little guys but I ended up with 13 keepers. I must have thrown back at least 50. Got a little nicer when the sun came. All in all, a decent day as now I have enough fillets for my traditional Christmas Eve fish fry. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
