verado
I just purchased a new Lowrance Elite 7TI from Bass Pro while their sale was on. I am a little concerned about the touch screen and how easy it is to use when your hands are cold and wet. Do any of you guys have experience with them? I also looked at the Hummingbird (no touch screen) in the same price range but I have used Lowrance all my life and I am more comfortable with them. smerchly
I have an old Lowrance X25 ....came with the boat many years ago .....non touch of course. Just a thought .....use a device like a pencil .... rubber end to touch the screen when hands are cold or wet .....

Fonthill
You would have to use a stylus designed for touch screens. Screens are conductive touch that operates them a pencil eraser would not work
