steelshady
Few fish around but nothing what the fishing used to be due to the stoppage of the "steelhead transfer" by the MNR. knightfisher, Mbocco, Bubba14 and 3 others

Mbocco
Where might that be if you don’t mind me asking? Is that a Huron trib?
steellee
Nice way to open the spring. Judging by your pics that spot wasn't as busy as I would have thought. I've been hitting some real small erie tribs this week. Really have to work for fish but its nice hiking for hours and not seeing another angler Bubba14

steelshady
Its Saugeen River, been going up there to fish the opener for the last 25 years, kind of a tradition to hang out with friends. Less people every year due to high prices of travelling and fewer fish, gas alone cost me $160 for a round trip.... Unlike the US, CAN stocks very little fish in rivers and relies mostly on natural reproduction. Jwl1 and smerchly
