Went with the Stradic. The Vanford was also amazing all carbon fibre and light as a feather. The 2024 Stradic has a lot of the same parts as a Stella. I’m not saying that the Stradic is comparable to a Stella. Stradic 300 bucks, Stella 1100 bucks

Need your input. Other than the stuff I can read on line does anyone have experience with both of these reels? Looking at purchasing one of them. Strictly for trout fishing the lower river. I’m not a bass guy.

I have 2 boats, one has a hummingbird the other low range. Both great units for Lake Erie Walleye. My buddy runs the Garmin touch screen unit this is my favorite of all.

This is mine.. The months of June and July were slow for me unless I travelled way east to windmill point or crystal beach area. My boat is docked at sugarloaf. August started heating up and September was “ FIRE”. My go to all year was black and pink harnesses on riggers of dipseys. The 2 years before was all white wonder bread blades. All in all a slow start and a very strong finish.

The tip is based on how the charter captain treats your group. The tip becomes a percentage of the rate he charges you. No different then going out for dinner.

Yes a very good thing you were there. My guess is no fishing license either. Gotta love it. He doesn’t know the rules, keeps everything that swims in or out of season! Maybe the Ministry should start testing all of us every 5 years on fish species, opening season for freshwater fish, fish limits etc….. Education is vital

Fished Nottawa yesterday and today. Weather on Tuesday was cloud with sporadic rain,sleet and cold. Fish have all pushed out. Today was a bit warmer and sunnier. The run was done well before opener this year. A few drop backs were caught. I guess this is a good sign, the fish did what they do and flushed out. Anyways always a good time with the boys.

Row dog are those German Short Haired Pointers? I have had many over the years and everyone was a great hunter/family dog! I miss them all! -

Pets bring joy and happiness in our lives -
I clean all my fish on the boat. Never bring them home. Wife won’t allow smelly fish guts in the house and the yellow jackets outside can be a pain so why not clean them on the water and they only fish coming in the house are fillet and bagged ready for the freezer

Has anyone fished from one or own one. I might downsize and these boats look quit inviting. I have done a lot of research on them but first hand knowledge is best. Looking at the 18’ but a small arm twist and the 20’ might be the one
