Apparently there was some sort of satellite upgrade a couple of years ago that changed how the date works and my unit can't handle it.

At least all the other functions work properly.

Send some of them to me to get my squirrels.

For some reason the date on Eagle 642igps is showing as 12-25-02 and the time is off by 5 hours. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix it. The date should pull from the GPS satellites. My garmin portable GPS has the correct date and time.

They have been constant for the last couple of weeks. For my smaller boat I have not been out for over a week.

I was thinking the same thing.The fight sure looked like more than what came out of the hole.

Sounds like something my uncle had 50 years ago. He fished heavily weeded areas and would reach out and drop the line down into holes in the weeds for perch fishing.

Not hard to imagine for me. I don't know what type of boat it was I could imagine taking a wave or leaning to net a fish and taking a wave to flip the boat, or standing to relieve over the edge(always use a can).

Just some facts as bad/gross as this may sound.

It takes 3-4 days for a body to float up.

I know you can't but if you wanted to get rid of one how/where would you do it.

My neighbor has deer mount he was going to give to my sister so she could sell it on marketplace. I told her I don't think you can sell it, and sure enough after searching you can't. So just curious how would you get rid it if you wanted to?

C130 just flew over again. Must have went to base (Trenton)for refuel and new crew.

The searchers are gone. No idea if they found what they were looking for good or bad. No reports in the news that I could find.

Search and rescue chopper just flew over tracking the shoreline heading west towards Dunville. POCMAR went by about a hour ago. Anyone hear any reports of someone missing on Lake Erie today?
