well this ones not very long length wise, and it holds decent water when its not so dry out, i was just unsure sinze i didnt know what to look for
-
i think the Salmon are trying to get higher than the lake level, i think the lenght of the creek/river should be long
-
went to bailey bridge today, see how the water was, get myself a few pannies, and i see a newer looking 1oz bell sinker with a huge treble hook on the line stuck midway on the underside of the bridge, are people really starting this already?

I would really suggest that you check out some other boats before buying one. They are not all made the same. Check the plastic closely.

will do when i get home from work tonight approx 12 30
-
Dude, we were fishing the 12 tonight and heard two splashes about 15 minutes apart that literally sounded like cannonballs falling into the water. The only other time we've heard that was last year during the salmon run in Port D. We thought we were going crazy and figured they must have been big rocks falling into the water. Now I'm thinking they could've actually been salmon??

got out on the upper today, from 8 45 till 4, had perch hitting all day including my first over 10 inches, even got a few bass, great day
-
saw a charter boat at port today, the guy got a nice salmon, so he felletsit right on the boat and throws the head tair spine and guts into the water.. is this normal?

i understand that for sure, it just seems that as a fishing charter you need to show the standards that you want others to follow. throwing a whole fish minus what you take to eat then throwing it into the water seems wrong in my opinion. but if thats allowed then i wont argue it
-
once i fillet my catch i generally throw the remains in the water as well. birds and other animals feed off it and its from those waters in the first place. plus id rather not have a reaking garbage bin after a couple days
-
I freeze the guts until garbage day .
-
so i have three half day catch nd release vouchers for tangled lines ponds. but they only is for bass, crappie and bluegill. what i want to do is fish the trout pond. i understand its catch and keep. but does anybody know whata half day of that is money wise?

-
they charge by the LB there.. an average trout would cost about 5 bucks each.. still a great deal
-
would they let me fly fish for the bass with my voucher? or do you have to use there rods?.. and thats still not bad. so you catch what you want and before you leave they weigh it out and you pay? thanks for the helpful reply cplimmer
-
I would email em or give them a call
-
i tried to educate a kid and family today about how bass are out of season.. tried explaining why they are and when to go after them again. i then was criticized for intruding on them and not minding my own business.. then the guy continues to make physical threats... im 18... hes maybe 43?.... just dont get it..

no, he wasnt keeping them. but he was dropping his lure right infront of the beds.. he knew better
-
any advice for catching pike in the niagara area? iv been throwing spoons on the beverdams road ponds, gibson, and martindale, and only get followers but no bites from a pike.
-
learned a few things today, invest in good line, learn to tie good knots, spoons will pretty much catch anything, and catfish fight like dead weight
-
went out for a hour and a bit today for pike, had no luck uyntill this guy comes up and starts talking to me.. he asks what im tafter and after some small talk he says, "hey, try over there and cast at this spot" i try and he see's me failing,so he walks over and says move 4 feet over, and cast 25 feet out more to the right of where i was casting. holy cow was he right, seconds after the spoon hit i had a monster pike on the line. sadley i lost him. but if that guy who helped me o...
