  1. Can you get the security codes through email?
  2. Maybe I’ll leave them a nice note on their vehicle.
  3. I believe natives can keep fish out of season and don’t need a license. I was making a u-turn and seen (natives) walking back to their vehicle with a walleye. I asked them how fishing was and said “keeping walleye out of season eh”. I continued on my way. then later in the day I watched non natives fishing jigs and throw a walleye on shore.
  4. Next time I see it I’ll say something to them. Some people might just not know even though they should.
  5. No I just left them alone. They were on the far side of the river. They kept one. Would be nice if MNR would keep an eye on that spot but I’ve never seen MNR in brantford besides opening day for trout on a small creek.
  6. Guys keeping walleye on the grand in brantford
  7. Welcome to the forum. definitely check the regs. If somebody tells you, you can fish, then MNR catches you and you say oh this guy told me I could that’s not gonna fly with them. http://www.ontario.ca/document/ontario-fishing-regulations-summary/fisheries-management-zone-16 Let’s see some pics when the season is in
  8. Anyone know if there’s a “text” number you can msg to report people keeping fish out of season?
  9. I’ll be taking my gf’s nephew out fishing this year. He’s a game freak. Gotta wip him into shape because in a few years he’ll be living up north.
  10. Kev you’ve done an amazing job with this “leave no trace” program. It’s been noticed all across Canada. Looking forward to more cleanups this season.
  11. Hoping to see some fish pics soon. I’m glad you recovered from the injuries.
  12. Thanks gene https://www.ontario.ca/files/2024-03/mnrf-2024-hunting-regulations-summary-en-2024-03-26_0.pdf
  13. I can’t wait to get the harnesses out for some Walter’s.
  14. Remember when tackle shops sold frogs?🐸 🐸 Might have to give some live bait a go this season.
  15. Sorry “port d” I deleted your post. It was double posted but both posts got deleted.
  16. No snow where we were. There was some snow from Friday night close by. Must of been the path the storm took. Some lakes still frozen and I’m assuming the ones that are open have more current, rivers/creeks are flowing also.
  17. There’s signs of deer on the property. Maybe they drink from the pond. I’ll check for baitfish when it thaws.
  18. That water is just a swampy beaver pond. In the second pic you can see the road they just built for us because the pond split the land in half. It will get graveled this year.
  19. So much water to fish. Can’t wait to fish the tiny creeks that are everywhere. beautiful lakes and rivers also can’t wait to get the yak out there.
  20. Went up to the land yesterday to build a shelterlogic car port. The night before topped up all fluids, added air to “NEW tires”, washed it etc. making sure it was good for the 5hr drive. Around Mississauga kinda start noticing the back end swaying back and forth a bit. I’m thinking it just the weight in the back of the truck or the snow and ice on the road. My truck is always clunking and clanking so I didn’t think too much about it. Next thing I know we’re in Peterborough and the rear tire blows at 6am. Lucked out Canadian tire was 8min away. Towed there waited an hr for it to open and 3 hours to get seen. Had tire instock and was covered under warranty since I bout them at CT. got north and walked the land, had a beer and enjoyed the quietness. Didn’t get the car port built, dropped it off and brought garbage home. long day with 12hrs of driving.
  21. Wow that’s amazing smerch. How did he get a hold of you?
