Unfortunately it’s in a hard to reach area over the moving water current and him being 74 years old he unable to attempt it without the risk of falling into the river.

My father went to the peace bridge today to get some minnows and he was telling me that the bird is still entangled in the fishing line and hanging off the fence.

Thanks I’m planning on getting it next week I fish from shore but I’m hoping we get the boat going. I usually fish at the customs dock as it’s down the street from me they’re getting perch down there. My father went over to the peace bridge to check for minnows and found a tern hanging from the fence by fishing unfortunately it was dead but it makes you feel bad and it doesn’t make fishermen look good towards the public.

Hi everyone I haven’t been fishing since Covid started but want to get back into it again still trying to get a walleye but no luck. I need to get my license renewed first before I can get out and fish again.My father got some nice perch a few weeks ago down at the customs dock.

Sorry for not responding lately had a great time last week went down the street to the customs dock that guy was down there but my goal was fishing and enjoying the day with my father managed to get 8 nice perch threw some back into the water and gave a couple to a guy we knew. Still need to get myself a walleye only caught one in my entire life 😂

Nice haul where abouts do you recommend in port ive tried by the dam years ago but lose my lures to the rocks not to mention being crowded so you couldn't cast out far.

Nice at least they had fun. My first salmon i ever caught was a 24 pounder i was excited as it was a big fish. I usually avoid queenston and stick to fishing the upper Niagara river unfortunately my father's up there in age and it would nearly be impossible for him to get back up the steps at the whirlpool.

Sorry for the delay nice salmon I use to fish for them with my dad got a few nice ones near Jordan 10 years ago. I tried 6 years ago in Port D with the glow in the dark spinners from Petes but ended up getting stuck on rocks and losing my lures. I kinda gave up on the salmon fishing its a pain coming from fort erie to port d and not getting anything and dealing with the crowds when i was there a guy told me there were guys fighting over salmon.

Im hoping the winter fishing will be good. I want to try ice fishing up in welland I haven't done it since I was a kid.

Haven't been out since late spring but hows everyone been doing this Summer. I'm hoping to start again late fall and during the winter trying out my new ice fishing rod.

I kind of agree about taking a test to get a license. Up here in Fort Erie we're starting to get some guys from T.O fishing here with gobies and minnows we usually let them know nicely that they can't use gobies for bait but they just ignore you and continue on fishing. These days I just try and go out fish and not be concerned about whats going on eventually the ministry might do something.
