  1. They aren’t paddle tail but Berkley caffein Shad’s are very soft and you can hook them weedless. Caught many pike on them. similar to a zoom fluke but softer.
  2. Bubba, sounds exactly my neck of the woods where my family summer place is. If you head up that way let me know!
  3. Bubba, thank you from your service. Policing seems almost impossible these days. They are constantly under scrutiny, and always seem like you hear only the wrongdoings but rarely hear about the good deeds. You can’t use too much force and when you don’t is when you get shot. How do you win? The world is so soft these days ……
  4. Smerch, often times it’s the battery. They don’t last forever. I have multiple brands , DW, MW and have all had batteries bite the dust after some years.
  5. Markster, I’m going but not until boom stick season in November. Good luck if you are going out . 🤜🏼🤛🏼
  6. Next time you need a hand with something heavy like that you let me know. We will get it to your curb. Save you some money for more fishing tackle $$$$
  7. Smerch, are there not any scrappers around to come and get it for free ? In my neck of the woods I put appliances at the curb and someone just comes and gets it…..I don’t even have to make a call. I put my old fridge out 3 weeks ago, gone in less than an hour ! Free!
  8. I’m bad for it. As Chubbs Peterson and Happy Gilmore said “ just give it a little tappy, tap tap tap-a-roo.
  9. Could be the same onesFK. Foxes however do have a short lifespan 4ish years I believe. I want to say the ones I always see are the ones from previous years as well.
  10. My neighbourhood has had foxes in it for years and I live in the city (Stoney Creek). I’ve witnessed multiple litters now. They have made homes under porches, sheds etc. I don’t have a problem with them but others do….people with dogs/cats etc. Last summer I peeled someone’s cat out of the mouth of a fox 😳. I see a fox pretty much daily here and up until about 2020 I had never saw one around. Here’s one from this March staring at my daughter waving to it through the winter.
  11. Did that 10 years ago on my Evinrude 115. 0 problems since!
  12. I believe this exact same thing was thought about a good friend of mine 7 years ago. RIP, Jarett.
  13. Post card, Smerch. Enjoy your summer !
  14. They’ll definitely eat them. Caught many of them that cough up gobies. But you’re right, they’ll move deeper and the ones you do catch will be dinks.
  15. Can you go over the border with no proof of vaxx?
  16. I’m with you. They’ll find a way to recoup that money from us somewhere else.
  17. That too, but also put a lower limit on perch for the recreational anglers. There’s no reason that a boat of 3 guys need 150 perch an outing. A lot of these guys do it over and over again as well while the perch fishing is hot. The rise of the walleye population could be a contributing factor. Walleye feed heavily on perch.
  18. You’re welcome Smerch. Your son in law should know exactly what the stuff is and where to get it. happy jimmy rigging! CHS
  19. Smerch, I found this website that you can customize an order and ships to Canada. If you read on the side, one of the uses says sled runners! https://www.professionalplastics.com/PuckBoardsHockeyHDPEfacing_KickPlateCapRail You can likely find some of this stuff at Canadian tire or a sports store. It’s used as fake ice to use for hockey practice etc. CHS
  20. Smerch, what works good is the boards from hockey rinks. I believe they are polyethylene. I think you can buy it in a sheet. Easy to cut and can could likely mould it with some heat.
  21. Nope, soak the filets in cold salt water in the fridge over night. Brings any blood out. Works great
  22. Nice carp Daryl! Not a carp fisherman but today I stopped at the waters edge in grimsby….I make a weekly trip to 50 point market for some goodies. Many carp along the shore 2-4 feet cruising and many with their head down a** up….like the way I prefer my w…Never mind …. Assume they are in shallow feeding?
  23. I only deal with bay city marine in Hamilton. Dewildt Honda is a joke…..wouldn’t even order a part for pick up from them. At this time of year most repair shops are busy….
  24. +1 to what fish farmer said. Slow charge. I have an on board charger but found not to be using it because it took wayyy to long to charge all 3 of my batteries. Went back to the basics and slow charge with my trickle charger. The way I’ve been doing it seems to work. Got 9 great years out of my last interstates!
