    I headed out to Gibby today to try for carp . First time this year. Alot of people fishing from shore who didn't seem to concerned about the new rules. Fished from 9am until around 1pm. Managed 3 or 4 cats and a nice small mouth. Just using corn. No Carp. Saw a guy along the bank who had 2 or 3 rods set up but no fish while I was there. It was a beautiful morning.

    The good thing is they are already back peddling after police said they wont enforce, and infectious disease experts are saying closing outdoor activities will actually make things worse. Playgrounds now opened back up, hopefully soon common sense will prevail and outdoor activities will be back on the table.

    The price of 2 x 4s is ridiculous. Was at lowes last week and despite being almost double in price, I couldn't find one straight board.

    Also dont forget meat and certain groceries up 25%, lumber and building supplies sky rocketing, gas and various other utilities, it doesnt end. Going to be tough for a lot of people to survive.

    When we went up to Nippising that was really all we were catching. Seem to be taking over up there. We all enjoyed them. Haven't fished much for them down here yet.

    Do you guys eat the pike or just toss back? I was surprised this year at how much my wife and son liked the taste of pike while up at Nippising

    I have never fished the whirlpool but would love to try it out this fall when my boat goes away for the winter. Great pics .
